hi,mr. buffet,god has blessed you with knowledge, and weath it would be nice if my son whom was on dessert storm air force, would be able too keep his home for his family of three,was a mail carrier for 3 years air force 3 half years, but now is having a hard time since he went too school to become an electrican but for the was off work for 10 month and now works when he can fine work the school is job attached and union attached but that dose not pay the bills with a i6 day 12hour shafts every so ofthen with that he will be placed with a job but when,he has been on the edge of homelessness quite a few times, but the bankrupcy he had too file lets him keep his home but the payments have too be on time and unemployeement is sometimes not quite enough, and food thank god we can help and send him tooo the food coop fo veggies and meat but 25 dollars doesnt buy much that is for a month and wiht the fees for high school and the things they need too buy,has been heart breaking but what can you do when i am disabled and meds takes most all my money, and ageing dosent help eight but hope you can talk too some one tha can do something too help the people from this U>S> OF A!!!!!! thanks and god bless and prayers is what i have most forour son and our grandchildren,and nov 9, 2011 we will have our frist grand-son going into the navy,god bless him hope he he will be safe and come home safe and well…….avery concerned mom and grandma

My name is Sophia Robles, and I am the director of Prescott Child Development Center, in Prescott Az. I would like to take a moment to tell you about us.

We are a non-profit daycare center in Prescott. We have been in the community since 1961, currently servicing 63 children between the ages of 4 weeks to five years old. We provide a loving, educational environment for children who live in Yavapai County.

We are one of the only centers who provide care for children under two years of age. Most daycares do not take infants or even toddlers because these ages are not “money makers”. Here at PCDC our goal is not money. It is to provide a safe, caring place for children to be while their parents are at work.

We are also one of the only non-profit daycare/preschools in the area. What I mean by non-profit is that every dollar donated to our center goes to the children. We focus solely on the children. In the younger classrooms we concentrate on early childhood development. In the preschool class we are focusing on getting the children prepared for kindergarten. We work very hard to give these children the best start in life.

Recently we lost funding from an agency that is suffering financial hardship. We depended on this agency to supplement our food and scholarship program. This loss has been very devastating to our families and children.

I am writing to request a donation from your agency. Every dollar is crucial at this point. I truly believe that with your help, we can continue to make an enormous difference in the lives of these children and families. We do not often ask for community support because we have been self-sufficient and know that there are many other good causes, but at this time we really do need your help.

We want to ask you if it’s possible to help us. Me and my wife is still not working for 3 years and try very hard to find a job but with no success but we still trying. Our daughter just finish matrix and she is also trying to find a job. For more that 1 year we don’t pay rent because we don’t have the money. We sold our cars and we don’t have any transport. I’m trying to do a small business from home with commodities sugar, cement and we are trying our best to put food on the table. I’m 59 years old and my wife is 50 years old and it’s really difficult to find a job. We apply daily and send out our CV without any success.

If you have any organization or people that can supply us with groceries and meat for a temporary time because we trust and believe that God will send to us a miracle. Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Dear Mr. Buffet Were you aware of some of the problems with the modular homes sold in the midwest? I sure wish you would contact the sales reps and tell them to disclose the fact if it were a FEMA home. My elderly parents bought a FEMA home without knowing and have alot of problems. The home was thought to last many years. It’s a big list of problems and i wont go into detail. However, I dont think they were given much if any help from the company. Hello i hope this finds you well. I am not writing for me but the lady i work for. She is 90 years old. Her husband passed away two months ago. She requires 24 hour care. Her money is running out. We are having a benefit for her and she has applied for grants but they havent come through yet.
All she would like to do is to stay in her home until she is gone. she is trying but it is getting harder and harder. I am just trying to keep her in her home till the grants come through.
