I don't listen to Cramer. Cramer is dangerous. I buy stock in companys I like and deal with. I study the numbers, and make sure that the company is strong, and financially healthy. I want a company that is going growing steadily of the next 10 years.
Skyworks Solutions Inc (SWKS)? Do you know anything about semi-conductors or electronics manufacture? Do you work in the industry? I don't. But I do shop at Target, Lowes, Dicks Sporting Goods. I eat at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers when I get a chance. I cruise with Carnival Cruise Lines. Start with companies that you know. Then study the numbers of the company before buying stock in them. Peter Lynch would be much better for you than Jim Cramer!

I am buying some stocks here and there based on Cramer's advise, but what I am finding is... the day after he mentions the stock on his show, the stock has a run up. By the time I purchase the stock the stock has made it's run up. I have lost money on swks and thought that would be a good one. I wanted into swb today, but it was already up two dollars. Do I wait for these to come down????
