I got an email welcoming me to my new Carnival Sea Miles credit card. I haven’t gotten the card yet. When it comes, I will transfer the balance from my current credit card (AAdvantage), and then cancel it. I will get Sea Miles for the transferred balance. Then I will pay off the balance. Way cool! I get 5000 Sea Miles just for activating the card in the first place. I take more cruises than I fly on American Airlines these days.
I’ve read a lot of credit news articles that state you shouldn’t cancel credit cards, even if you won’t be using them anymore, because it will automatically hurt your credit score.

I think I remember reading that somewhere too. I will have to investigate that. Maybe I will just keep the card, and shove it into our safe, and not use it at all.

Now the overall economy is so crazy and lots of people just do not understand what on earth is Truly happening! It is actually astounding the amount of sheepel just go along with the herd and tend not to think for themselves. Personally I invest in silver since it is REAL money and not just a piece of paper that could get printed anytime someone bats an eye. Thanks a bunch friend for the good blog post, even more folks must be knowledgeable in finances!
