I hear the term financial freedom a lot, but what exactly is financial freedom? How do I get financial freedom?

Let’s look at the definition of freedom:
1: the condition of being free; the power to act or speak or think without externally imposed restraints 2: immunity from an obligation or duty

So what does financial freedom mean?

I see financial freedom as the freedom to do what I want, go where I want, and when I want. If I want to go on a cruise next week, it means I have the resources to do it. It means that I am not tied down by a job, or a lack of resources. It means that I am free from debt! But also the freedom from worries about whether I will have money to pay bills, much less for the future!

My goal is financial freedom. I am working on it!
