If you are interested in investing in ethanol stocks, here are a few companies to look at. I am only supplying the list, and make no recommendations about these ethanol stocks.

Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) - Archer-Daniels-Midland Company engages in the procurement, transportation, storing, processing, and merchandising of agricultural commodities and products. They are getting into ethanol production.

Diversa Corp. (DVSA) - Diversa Corporation engages in the discovery and development of protein-based products, such as enzymes and antibodies by applying its proprietary genomic technologies.

Green Plains Renewable Energy Inc. (GPRE) - Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc., a development stage company, plans to produce ethanol and animal feed products in southwestern Iowa.

MGP Ingredients (MGPI) - MGP Ingredients, Inc. produces certain ingredients and distillery products. The company’s distillery products consists of food grade alcohol, including beverage alcohol and industrial alcohol; fuel alcohol; and distillers grain and carbon dioxide, which are by-products of the company’s distillery operations. Ethanol is only one of its many businesses.

Pacific Ethanol, Incorporated (PEIX) - Pacific Ethanol, Inc. engages in the development, production, and marketing of renewable fuels in the western United States.

Xethanol Corp. (XTHN) - Xethanol Corporation engages in the production and marketing of ethanol and its co-products in the United States.

I am sure there are other ethanol stocks out there. These are the ones I found.
