- I just wanted to say to everyone, the answers that I have been searching for, is all warp up in the Prosperity Bible, things that I could not understand about the KJ Bible is making sence to me now, and if I do what this book is saying to me, then I am on my way to being the Millionaire that I always thought and wanted to be. To me it was the missing piece of the puzzle, and I have found it in my "KEEP SAKE", because this book "The Prosperity Bible" is a keep sake.The Prosperity Bible: The Greatest Writings of All Time On The Secrets To Wealth And Prosperity
- This book is truly the prerequisite to The Secret. Clearly all the ideas in this book were the resources for Rhonda Byrne in writing The Secret.A great book for anyone interested in The Secret;the next step is doing it....Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook is the practical version of this book;reviewing and reinforcing all the important principles and adding the steps to do daily to actually live it.
- If you seek more happiness, health, wealth, self-expression, and/or love, there are two books that can show you the way to get all that you desire...
1. The King James Version of the Bible
2. The Prosperity Bible
With regard to "The Prosperity Bible", you cannot realize what a value this book is until you've actually experienced it for yourself.
Now, let me tell you what you get inside this incredible book:
1. "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill (1937)
2. "Acres of Diamonds" by Russell Conwell (1921)
3. "A Message to Garcia" by Elbert Hubbard (1899)
4. "As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen (1902)
5. "The Game of Life and How to Play It" by Florence Shinn (1925)
6. "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace Wattles (1911)
7. "Creative Mind and Success" by Ernest Holmes (1919)
8. "Prosperity" by Charles Fillmore (1936)
9. "In Tune with the Infinite" by Ralph Trine (1897)
10. "The Master Key System" by Charles Haanel (1917)
11. "The Secret of Success" by William Atkinson (1907)
12. "The Art of Money Getting" by P.T. Barnum (1880)
13. "The Way to Wealth" by Benjamin Franklin (1758)
14. "The Secret of the Ages" by Robert Collier (1926)
15. "The Conquest of Poverty" by Helen Wilmans (1899)

17. "The Power of Concentration" by Theron Dumont (1915)
18. "How to Grow Success" by Elizabeth Towne (1904)
19. "The Mental Equivalent" by Emmet Fox (1943)
Consider this... If you were to buy all of these books individually (if you could even find all of them), you could easily spend hundreds of dollars. Here, you get all these books for a measly $24.
Consider this... There are thousands and thousands of books that have been written on the subject of success, achievement, prosperity, wealth, health, happiness, loving relationships, etc. Without a tremendous investment in time and effort, how could possibly know which ones were the best? Here, the best of the best have been identified and put together for you in a single volume.
I'll end with this... This is a serious book for people who are serious about having and enjoying the very best in life. And, the person who actually studies and applies the secrets contained in this book will find that they enjoy a life where no good thing is withheld from them.
- It's always a pleasant experience and privilege to be able to hitchhike on someone else's experience. For example: I have all of Robert Collier's books. However, this resource contains the original 1926 version of The Secret of The Ages and is so rich in revelation that you simply lay the book down after reading from it and ponder, chew and muse upon what you've just read.
I could go on and on. Simply do yourself a tremendous favor and acquire this timeless resource.
May God bless the person who took the time and initiative to compile this volume of spiritual wealth.

5 comments about Napoleon Hill's Keys to Success: The 17 Principles of Personal Achievement.
- There are thousands of self-help books out in the market and hundreds of self proclaimed "gurus" who have made a living by copying the wisdom in Napoleon Hill's books. As I went through some of those books I realized that there was not much in them that Hill had not already written about. I recommend quality over quantity. Instead of reading through many books, I recommend that you study the following works of Hill and internalize his wisdom:
1. The Think and Grow Rich Action Pack (1937) - I recommend the Action Pack edition,
2. Napoleon Hill's Keys to Success: The 17 Principles of Personal Achievement - this book,
3. Your Right To Be Rich [Unabridged] - this consists of 12 hours of live lectures covering the 17 principles, that Hill conducted in Chicago in 1954.
By internalizing, I mean studying in depth - analyzing the ideas, making notes and summaries. I own more CDs by Hill, but I believe that these 3 items make the perfect study plan on the Philosophy of Personal Achievement.
This philosophy is the end product of two decades of research conducted by Napoleon Hill. His research started when Andrew Carnegie (the steel tycoon who was then the richest man on earth) gave him the assignment of organizing a Philosophy of Personal Achievement. Hill, who was a poor journalist, armed with just an introductory letter from Carnegie, set out to interview over five hundred successful people including Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, John D. Rockefeller, George Eastman, William Wrigley Jr. and Charles M. Schwab. Hill then revealed the priceless wisdom of his research in the form of the thirteen steps to success (in Think and Grow Rich) and the seventeen Principles of Personal Achievement (in courses and lectures he conducted).
This particular book goes beyond the 13 steps in Think and Grow Rich. It covers the following 17 Principles of Personal Achievement (also known as the 17 Keys to Success):
1. Develop a Definiteness of Purpose
2. Establish a Mastermind Alliance
3. Assemble an Attractive Personality
4. Use Applied Faith
5. Go the Extra Mile
6. Create Personal Initiative
7. Build a Positive Mental Attitude
8. Control Your Enthusiasm
9. Enforce Self-Discipline
10. Think Accurately
11. Control Your Attention
12. Inspire Teamwork
13. Learn from Adversity and Defeat
14. Cultivate Creative Vision
15. Maintain Sound Health
16. Budget Your Time and Money
17. Use Cosmic Habitforce
The concepts taught by Napoleon Hill transformed my life. Everything he wrote about or talked about is thought provoking. He was wise, humble and funny. His philosophy is universal; he did not mix it with religion. The riches he referred to were more than money, for the Philosophy of Personal Achievement can be applied to anything in life.
Hill was well ahead of his time. "Think and Grow Rich" has a chapter dedicated to some of today's most important issues - Specialized Knowledge, Decision Making, Imagination and Organized Planning (in which he deals with Leadership). And his principles deal with Teamwork, Creative Vision, Health, etc.
I am greatly indebted to Napoleon Hill. The purpose of my writing this is to spread awareness of his work so that more people can benefit from it. This, I believe is the best way in which Hill would have liked to have been repaid.
If my review was helpful to you, I request you to select "Yes" so that the rating is improved and more readers will get to read it. Please also see the website of the Napoleon Hill Foundation, naphill dot org, which has helpful resources.
- Sure, this is a wonderful starter kit (yes, I do have this book...) in addition to Hill's other books like "Think and Grow Rich", "The Master Key To Riches", et al. But more than that, it is a primer that makes you hungry for the mental nourishment of his full "Law Of Success" which I have just ordered through Amazon. And why am I giving this distillation five stars? C'mon, isn't it obvious, through these *distilled* principles you get a pretty good taste of the "spirit-voice" of Napoleon Hill. And when he says in later versions of "Think and Grow Rich" - 'through these pages we have met'. You know what he means here, even though it is shortened and edited. So, I've said enough, get started, happy reading.
Captain Josh/Joshua Clayton
- The first batch of significant books that had the greatest influence on me in terms of attaining personal achievement includes mostly Napoleon Hill's books:
- The Law of Success;
- Think & Grow Rich;
- The Keys to Success;
- Success through a Positive Mental Attitude;
- Succeed & Grow Rich through Persuasion;
The others were from Clement Stone, Dale Carnegie, & Earl Nightingale.
That was the early 70's when I had just started work as a young engineer.
The author, Napoleon Hill, had impressed me most by his relentless dedication in spending some two to three decades of his life in pursuing & researching the success secrets of the rich & famous...with a little help from Andrew Carnegie, of course.
As matter of fact, many of the famous people he interviewed were also favourite role models of mine e.g. Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, just to name a few
Till this day, I have never forgotten what he said:
"The most powerful instrument we have in our hands is the power of our mind."
I have never ceased to be fascinated by the simplicity & the potency of his ABCs of personal achievement: CONCEIVE, BELIEVE & ACHIEVE!
It is certainly enlightening to note that even Stephen Covey had drew inspiration from Napoleon Hill's work even though he never made that credit. He only admitted that the 7 Habits had its origins from "200 years of success literature in the United States." That remark itself is self explanatory.
Anthony Robbin's Mastery program as embodied in his books as well as his audio/video resources is no exception, even though he has been influenced in larger extent by NLP.
If you look at & compare the 17 principles of personal achievement in 'The Law of Success' &/or the 13 Steps to Riches in 'Think & Grow Rich', one can obviously see the uncanny resemblance of the 7 Habits & the Mastery principles...in one way or another.
At this juncture, let me outline the principal theme of each book:
The Law of Success: the original course on the fundamentals of success - all the seventeen essential principles of personal achievement;
Think & Grow Rich: The seventeen essential principles are reframed & condensed in terms of thirteen concrete steps to wealth creation (in actuality, this is a condensation of the Law of Success);
The Keys to Success: a further elaboration of the seventeen essential principles with concrete suggestions, exercises & advice;
Success Through Positive Mental Attitude: joint authorship with Clement Stone, with a further emphasis on developing a positive mental attitude;
Succeed & Grow Rich Through Persuasion: joint authorship with Clement Stone, with a further emphasis on developing master salesmanship & networking;
[It is pertinent to note that Clement Stone actually built his insurance business empire with these principles.]
My most productive, personal learning experience from Napoleon Hill's work is the understanding - & application - of his success principle #1: Develop Definiteness of Purpose.
[Very surprisingly, J Y Pillay, former Chairman of Singapore Airlines, - who had been credited for building the airline to what it is today, A GREAT WAY TO FLY! - also credited his work axiom to this same success principle, but he attributed it to an ancient Hindu scripture known as Bhagavad Gita.]
I am certainly gratified to note that Napoleon Hill's work had casted so much influence on - & empowered - so many people in the world, including myself.
- "Each night I burn the records of the day; At sunrise every soul is born again" WOW! That was not written by Mr Hill, but he was smart enough to add it to his book. There is so much good stuff in this book I do not know where to start. Other reviewers here have written more on the contents of the book, read theirs to get an idea.
All I can say is that if you read and understand this book, then follow what you have learned, there is no way you cannot succeed in life. This book is filled with wisdom. If you are struggling in your life or on the job and need help, the help you need is in this book. Good luck on your journey!
- Napoleon hill is the recognized expert on all things success. In this excellent book he discusses the 17 principles of personal achievement, including:
Using the Mastermind Principle
Focusing Your Attention
Learning From Defeat
Going the Extra mile
Improving Your Mental Attitude
This book is well worth reading. For more information on creating personal wealth, try "The 17 Principles of Creating Wealth," by Phillip Collinsworth.

5 comments about The Success System That Never Fails.
- I seen W. Clement Stone referenced in other motivational books by Zig Ziglar, Earl Nightingale etc, but had never read any of his writings. I have found The Success System That Never Fails to be inspirational and very enjoyable reading. Mr. Stone wrote in a very conversational manner and consistently urges readers to put the ideas gleaned from his writings into action and do it now. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in trying to get the most out of life.
- When I was about 14 years old my dad a self made successful real estate broker in Inkster Michigan insisted I read this book. This book has been etched in my mind ever since. 43 years later, I've found an original copy of this book to give to my dad as a gift. That's how important this book is. If you do a you tube video search you can hear Stone in his own words give you the first 8 segments of the book. After hearing him, I know you'll want to buy this book. I like this book because 1) he gives you practical, useful stories of how he developed a success system which never failed for him in business. He gives concrete ideas on what to say and do to develop a success system. The most important thing you will take from this book is a perspective and behaviorally specific tips on how to become successful. What this book shows you is the key to your own wealth: you will learn that you need to track all of your activities, behaviors and goals and do a critical analysis, and apply that which works in every step of your processes. What you will discover combined with the principles he's sharing, is your own success system which never fails. Sometimes we forget when involved in our daily activities is the necessity to look at what works and discard what doesn't. We need to fine tune our approach to tasks and develop systems which can be duplicated over and over again. If you're one of those type of people who yearn to understand how "self help" works and how it can be applied in "your" life then this book is for you. There is no fluff; at the time Stone wrote this book I think people were less enamored with manipulation and more focused on helping people.
- It's a good book, but I mainly wanted the audio-book that came with it. It is a very poor recording, with the narrator seeming as if he thinks he is on a stage and feels the need to project. I felt as if I was being yelled at and was unable to listen to the recording for more than a few minutes.
- I highly recommend the AUDIO MP3 version of Success System That Never Fails The Success System That Never Fails
- The Success System That Never Fails is the golden key to a glittering future and I wanted it in my collection.

- This book is a classic that I read twenty years ago and wanted to have my own copy as I think it is a good reference for self-improvement. It has stood the test of time.
- A true classic. The grand grand father of all self help books. Stand the test of time. Very helpful indeed. Must read.
p.s. Below please find some of my favorite "and classical" passages for your reference.
Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe it can achieve. pg 32
Knowledge becomes power only when, and if, it is organized into definite plans of action and directed to a definite end. pg 76
Success requires no explanations. Failure permits no alibis. pg 138
Genuine wisdom is usually conspicuous through modesty and silence. pg 141
Men who accumulate great fortunes are generally known as cold blooded, and sometimes ruthless. Often they are misunderstood. What they have is will power, which they mix with persistence, and place back of their desires to insure the attainment of their objectives. pg 151
- If you are looking to start a business, advance in your career or develop the mind of a young individual this is the best starter book. Napoleon Hill's philosophy about weatlth and mindset is bar non the best (based off of Andrew Carnegie)content I ever read. This book got me the right mindset to launch my real estate investing business. A must read!
- All of the great reviews I read say it ALL. This book is a timeless classic & a great educator for all who take the time to read it. Some are under the false thought that this great work is only for those in sales or that the book's ONLY objective is to make money. This book is for True success in ALL areas of life!
If it is not already, this book should be on the recommended reading list for All High School Graduates, so they can get a off to a good roaring start in life! It has pushed me to SUCCESS!
I sure wish I had it when I came out of school

- Think and Grow Rich is one of the greatest self-help books ever, back in the original 1937 text. Next to the Bible, this is my favorite book. This book embodies Andrew Carnegie's philosophy of achievement which can help an individual to reach their full potential and achieve their goals. I discovered Think and Grow Rich when I read former world champion and International Boxing Hall of Famer Ken Norton's autobiography entitled Going the Distance. Norton shared in his book that he read Think & Grow Rich and it changed his life. Norton's book states he was prescribed to read Think & Grow Rich after he suffered his first boxing defeat and had to start over. He then went on a fourteen fight winning streak and beat Muhammed Ali for the title.
Also recommended: Everything I Needed to Know About Success, I Learned in the Bible (And So Can You!), Going the Distance : The Ken Norton Story, Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised, The Think and Grow Rich Action Pack, Sports Devotional Bible and Every Man a King.
- This book helped me to change my life and my thinking when I was an impoverished high school dropout. I can't recommend it highly enough. I have shared it with my audult children and often give copies to my friends.

5 comments about Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised.
- A classic. Principles of getting rich are mentioned. Even though I didn't get rich, it did help me achieve
another goal.
Topics like Desire, Faith, Autosuggestion and Specialized Knowledge
are all essential to get rich. I do feel something is missing
from this book. Great violinists and pianists can also be
rich but I don't think they have to begin with the first chapter:
Desire (for money). They simply have a temperament, gift,
and passion for music. Because the perform well in their
professions, the money comes in naturally.
This book might have made some people rich but I don't
think it's the only way. To be fair, no reading of any single
book can make you rich. You need to have understanding,
practice, and application of what you've read - together
with other books.
I am not rich yet so I give this classic 3 stars.
Besides, "The mystery of sex transmutation" is no longer a
mystery. The male reproductive system and the brain both
compete for the same protein tyrosine (with B6, copper,
iron etc). More tyrosine for one will deprive the other part
of the body - naturally.
- If you want an action tool to use to follow all the principles of this great book, read and apply Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook, you will not be disappointed. You will enjoy the combination of these 2 books.
- There is no such thing as a perfect book. People tend to see things in black and white, well there's nothing completely black or white; there's only shades of gray. You can get some good advice out of most books, even if a little. But there is no perfect book that presents you a complete and truthful view of the road to success.
Many books appear to be unreasonable in some of its content; but lucky us we are born with a powerful tool that helps us discern between what we should take and leave from a book: common sense. I should use it, and you probably should too.
This book is no exception. Personally, I would suggest that you read the first part of the book with a higher focus than the rest. It is very inspirational, and explain a success principle that, even though very common nowadays in other books, is still of major importance. For someone who hasn't read much of success books, these chapters are a good start.
The metaphysics and new age theories that Napoleon Hill proposes should be taken with a measure of healthy skepticism. To believe in them is a personal choice, and you should use your common sense to decide.
To people that has read many success books before, this book proposes nothing new. Though I should state this around, as this book came first than most of the others. It basically tells how you need to have a burning desire to achieve success, and have faith that you will succeed. Mostly, it presents this with an inspirational tone; so if you're looking to get your spirit up, try it.
- This book (with light blue cover with trees, and ISBN-10: 1438241585) has somehow gotten mixed up on Amazon with another version of "Think and Grow Rich," namely the one whose full title is "Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised (with a dark red, royal blue, gold cover and ISBN-10: 1593302002, published by Aventine Press). The 126 or so "reader reviews" that appear with THIS book (light blue cover) have somehow been "lifted" from the Amazon page for the other book (published by Aventine)! For one thing, this light-blue cover book is only 244 pages. The other book (ISBN-10:1593302002) has 412 pages - and many valuable features that this light-blue book does not contain!
If you are looking for the 412-page book with the full title "Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised," you must do a search for that exact title or for ISBN-10:1593302002.
- The title of this book is slightly misleading, at least in our age of magical "get rich quick" schemes (like "The Secret"). As Napoleon Hill repeats, you cant get money for nothing. Instead, success depends on actions--but successful actions depend on positive thoughts. Unlike today's short books that say "think about money and you'll get it," Hill spends fourteen chapters spelling out exactly how we can focus our minds on definite goals, convert our deepest desires into actions, succeed, and then--finally!--grow rich.

5 comments about The Law of Success In Sixteen Lessons by Napoleon Hill (Complete, Unabridged).
- This book is truly a Bible for success, and is full of amazing concepts.
Now you can listen in your car or MP3 player!
This is the ONLY true unabridged audio edition of this book available in the world. This MP3 CDs utilizes the original, unabridged text, thus capturing the entire essence of this all time motivational Classic.
Listen to the sweet sound of success
- In reguards to the comment about this book being too long: First, this book (the original which is the 16 lessons version) was out about 10 yrs before "think and grow rich". Second, and more importantly, the depth of this book is essential to living life the way you want to live it. Not just because you want a few good ideas in your head for a couple days only to be forgotten a month later.
For example, what lasts longer: a puddle of water, or an ocean? Of course an ocean. A puddle dries up quickly because it has limited substance. On the other hand, an ocean withstands the droughts.
This is a book for the person who is truly dedicated to the next level. A level of true achievement and freedom the "downers" in life. If your just looking for an interesting read, than purchase think and grow rich.
- I ordered this book for my son who is IB Student. It is one of 3 on his summer reading list. We were unable to get it at the library so my wife located and ordered on Amazon. The book is in great condition and my son is already half through it. It was accompanied by a nice note from the seller. We are really happy with this purchase.
- My book arrived quickly and in impeccable condition. I would definitely purchase from this seller again.
- This highly touted book did not appeal to me at all. The lessons are depressing, overbearing, and contained too much negative information for me. Each "lesson" leads me to feel that I will never be able to turn my circumstances around, and I get upset just thinking about picking it up and resuming reading it. The "lessons" are just too harsh, too time consuming, too much work, requiring time and focus that a busy career woman just does not have. Obviously written by a man, for men. Maybe I'm just not ready for it. Not one of the "successful" people mentioned in the book by the author is a female!!! Go figure!

- No doubt before The Secret ...before the books on The Law of Attraction...there was Napoleon Hill in 1937. I have read this book 3 times and it is the book of books in helping you transform your life by seeing your purpose, developing faith anf belief and then getting out of your own way. He may use different words but its all about asking, believing and then receiving to get all you want. Combine this with a fabulous workbook I discovered :Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbookthat guides you thru all his principles and you can't lose. These books have truly transformed my life!
- While the book's concept intrigued me, it also lost me when Hill started talking about the "ether fields" and telepathy. No amount of "magical thinking" can make someone rich--the best sections of the book are the ones that talk about setting and meeting goals. Even when Hill wrote the book in 1937, pseudo-science such as telepathy had already been debunked. The 21st century updates add new stories but fail to address Hill's unscientific notions of "ether fields."
- The book that I received has pages with different lengths. So, it doesn't look like a brand new book.
- I just wanted to warn you that after buying this particular copy published by Tarcher I found it to be very cheaply made and very hard to read because it has tiny print. I have since purchased a different copy by BN Publishing which is great.
- This book is exactly what the title says. Your life becomes what you want and think it will. This is another of my core principle books that I have based my entrepreneurial life.
