The producers present a variety of businesses that teens can operate while still in school, and carry the tools into the business world as they grow in the security of tried and true methods for success. Great video.

Turn's out I don't have to use them on my son. About a year ago I got him this video and it's been smooth sailing ever since. He recognized the host from T.V. and he was able to follow the easy format to starting a business of his own. He started a business designing Web Sites on his computer and has almost saved enough for a car of his own. Thank you Teenbiz!



5. I can't say enough for this fine video, Teen Biz. I have used it in my private counseling practice for both single and two parent households. I find it extremely helpful in helping step-parents and step-children, as well as step-siblings to bond. It provides a much needed way for teens to identify and set their own goals, and formulate effective patterns toward meeting them. The follow up help to the video on line and by mail is wonderful! I would recommend the Teen Biz video to anyone seeking to explore independent careers. I especially like the fact that the video explores the What to do aspects of starting a business, as well as the How to. It's entertaining, informative for adults as well as teens.

1. This video takes you through the entire process of buying a video. The performance of the narrator is weak, but he serves well to re-attract your attention as a new topic is introduced. The interviews were very enlightening. Some of the production values were not great but the information is important and vital. I recommend it highly to anyone considering buying (or selling) a business.

1. Very disappointing. The level of explanation is far too demanding for the student target level. I was hoping to use this in my class to supplement a textbook I am using (in a Japanese university), but I just don`t see any possible way students would get any positive learning from this video (and teaching in Japan for eight years, I`ve had to learn to be resourceful!!)@Definitely not worth the money paid.



2. It's not very exciting, but I learned a lot. My English is getting much better, and I credit this video with this improvement. It helps me in business meetings and when I have to talk to my boss. I found it very easy to comprehend, and I still watch ocasionally to learn things I forgot. I would recommend it to anyone who needs help in speaking and understanding English at work.



3. True, it isn't very exciting. But that's not what my students are after. They want to improve their English skills so they can ask for raises, negotiate deals, etc. at work with more confidence. It's aimed at high school through adult ESL students who need to communicate verbally with their coworkers, employees, and employers. That being it's goal, I think it succeeds.



4. I thought this tape would have some real situations with real people, but the only thing it has is an english teacher talking about some business scenarios. I got bored after 10 minutes of video. I wish I could have my money back.
