I use wp-shortstat (actually a heavily modified version of it). When I updated to WP2, it stopped logging stats. Not sure why it is not logging any stats.
I switched back to the original to make sure it wasn’t one of my modifications, but it didn’t log stats either.
I dropped the two tables, and let the program re-create them. It did re-create them, but still doesn’t log stats.
I am not sure if their is problem with the tracking hook: add_action(’shutdown’, array(&$wpss, ‘track’)); I did a search, and the shutdown thing still seems to be used in WP2.
I have read other people have had problems with shortstat and WP2, but not the same logging problem. Anyone else have any ideas?
I upgraded my blog software to WP2. I first upgraded the software on a test machine, to see how it worked. I also made sure my theme worked, and my plugins worked. So far so good. The admin screens are different and may take a little to get used to.
Woohoo! My 401k passed another milestone of $240,000! Quarter of a million dollars hopefully coming soon! I am just going to keep dumping money in there. Hopefully we don’t hit any major market dumps. If we do, I am will just stay on the same path and pick up cheap shares along the way. Hopefully it wouldn’t take me five years to get back to where I am. I am much better diversified than I was in 2000.

Blackberry
What is up with that? They are going to be shutting down Blackberry (a small wireless device made by Research in Motion) service to it’s users because of patent stuff. But apparently the shutdown will not affect government users? What? If it’s the government judges that are deciding that Blackberry infringed on a patent and decide to shut it down, let them go and buy something else to use. Why should government still be allowed to use the patent infringing devices while no one else can?
With the big dump that Google took, I thought I might buy a little more. I am making good money from them. I made $115 from Google in January via Google Adsense. Over $75 of it was from this site. So I want to re-invest some of my money back into Google. It will be a small portion of my overall investments. I remember years ago when people thought Microsoft was overpriced. If I had bought it then I would still have done extremely well!
